How to Use the GPTs
To use any of the custom GPTs, you will need a ChatGPT Plus subscription. I’m not affiliated with OpenAI, but the AI tools I provide are built atop their language models, so a subscription is required. Along with the benefit of having access to custom GPTs, you’ll be allowed enhanced versions of their ChatGPT product, including the ability to search websites and create images with DALL-E.
General Advice
Like any tool, AI can be used for good or bad. Don’t use AI to pound out mediocre content that no one wants to read! Book markets are already flooded with enough of that garbage.
Please use AI responsibly. Though many great works of literature contain adult themes, understand that certain prompts containing violence or pornography may be rejected by the large language models powering this assistant. This is a safety mechanism built into the models by OpenAI and nothing I can control.
Use synonyms or clever word replacement when entering passages from your work that may contain elements that could cause such flagging.
And remember, if you’ve not written with AI before, it might take a few sessions to learn how to get the most out of it. With just a little practice, you’ll be writing faster and more efficiently than you ever have, and using AI as expertly as you would spell check, grammar check, or any other writing tool.
